How CaribPay Person to Person Payment Service works
Step 1 - Register here
at www.CaribPay.com or visit one of
TreasureCard authorized agent or use one of our "Kiosks" at your
nearest supermarket or convenience store.
Step 2 - In your
CaribPay account setup a sub account for each person you want to send money
to.
Step 3
-
Fund your CaribPay Master Account.
You can
fund your CaribPay account using one of the following payment methods:
1. Cash - with the
purchase of a prepaid TreasureCard from Authorized CaribPay Agents
2. A Visa,
MasterCard, Discover or American Express Card payable in US$
3. A USA Bank account.
4. From your bill
payment provider such as your bank or other third party service providers
5. Direct Deposit to
a Bank of America Account.
To send
money through the CaribPay Person to Person Payment service, using a
TreasureCard, follow the steps outlined below.
i.
Go to one of our Authorized Agent distribution outlets and
order a prepaid TreasureCard (comes in $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, $750 and $1,000 denominations). Each card cost the
denomination amount + $2.00
ii.
Activate and simultaneously transfer the denominational
amount on the TreasureCard to your CaribPay account. Activate/transfer the
money via one of three ways:

From the CaribPay Website (www.CaribPay.com)
·
Call the 1-800-940-9633 toll free number found on the back of
the TreasureCard
·
From the TreasureCard Website (www.TreasureCard.net)
To send
money through the CaribPay Person to Person Payment service, using a standard
Credit Card/Debit/Bankcard and or directly using a USA bank account, follow
the steps outlined below.
i.
Log into your CaribPay account and under your profile
register your credit/debit/bank card(s) and or USA bank account(s).
ii.
For each credit/debit/bank card registered an activation code
will be sent to you at the registered email you have on file at CaribPay. For
each bank account registered you will need to call our customer service
number at 1-800-960-9633 prior to the activation code being sent to your
email address.
iii.
Upon receipt of the activation code you will need to re log
into your CaribPay account and under your profile locate the card and or bank
account to be activated and copy the activation code you received as is in
the field provided. Click on submit.
iv.
Steps iii-v is a one time process for each card and or bank
account you register to use at CaribPay.
v.
Locate your profile button in your CaribPay account and
select it, then select make a deposit. Enter the amount you wish to deposit
in your CaribPay account and select credit/debit card or bank account as
payment method. Click on the submit button and then select the registered
card or registered bank account from the drop down menu. Complete the rest of
information required and hit submit.
vi.
The process may take between 5 minutes and 24 hours for a
credit card or up to 72 hours for a bank account for the funds to show up in
your CaribPay master account.
To send
money through the CaribPay Person to Person Payment service, using third
party bill payment services (your bank online bill payment service or through
retail bill payment services such as check cashing stores, convenient stores,
MoneyGram or Western Union.
i.
Register here at www.CaribPay.com.
ii.
Setup your CaribPay account as a biller within your third
party bill payment service. Remember that your CaribPay Master Account number
is the 18 digit number that starts with a T.
iii.
Send money from your bill payment service to your CaribPay
Master Account as if you are paying yourself at CaribPay. Your CaribPay
biller address is: 224 Datura
Street, Suite 506, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33401.
iv.
Within the next 48 hours from sending money to your CaribPay
account you should receive an email notifying you that the funds are now in
your CaribPay Master Account.
Step 4

Transfer the amount you want to send from your Master CaribPay account to a
sub account, which maybe the person to person payment account for your
relative(s) in Jamaica or any other
countries on the CaribPay network.
Step 5

Immediately after completing the person to person payment transaction you may
instruct your relative(s) to get the sent money by any one of the methods
below that you had chosen at time of execution of the transaction:
Step 6 - To communicate
with your relative or friend use your permanent CaribPay long distance
calling card sub account to call your or send a text voice message with the
transaction.
Exchange
Rate Policy
1 - In addition to
the transfer fee CaribPay also makes money when it changes your dollars into
foreign currency.
2 - Payments are
made in the local currency of the payout country or in United States dollar depending
on the sender's choice at time of executing a CaribPay Person-to-Person Money
Transfer Payment.
3 - In addition to
the transfer fee applied to the transaction, a currency exchange rate may be
applied. If a currency exchange rate is applied to the transaction, United States currency is
converted to foreign currency at an exchange rate set by CaribPay
Any difference between the rate given to customer and the
rate obtained by CaribPay will be kept by CaribPay (and its agents - where
applicable).
