is Personal Information Collected ?
Personal
information might be collected from you in several ways:

you first registered with CaribPay
When
you initially open a CaribPay account, we may require your
name, phone number, e-mail address, mailing address, billing
address, credit card number, credit card expiration date,
bank account, bank routing number, and one or more government
issued ID. In addition, when you register with CaribPay,
for your protection and ours we may receive personal information
from consumer reporting agencies and from the financial
institutions though which we process your transactions.
- Transaction Information
When
you use CaribPay to send money to someone else or request
money from someone else, we ask you to provide information
related to each transaction, including the amount of the
transaction, the type of transaction (Transfer to Telephone
account, or simple Senvia money transfer) and the e-mail
address of the third party. We retain this information for
each of your transactions through CaribPay. We also collect
the Internet address (IP address) of the computer or device
you use to access your CaribPay account, in order to help
detect possible instances of unauthorized transactions.
- When
you register with co-branded partners
CaribPay is sometimes offered through other internet services.
We refer to these services as "our co-branded partners."
If you pre-register for the CaribPay service through one
of our co-branded partners, that website may provide personal
information about you to CaribPay.
- When
you submit feedback about the CaribPay service
We ask that you include your e-mail address, transaction
number and name when providing feedback about the CaribPay
service.
- When
you enter a contest or other special promotion
We may ask you to provide your name, e-mail address, and
shipping address. · When you update your CaribPay account.
Should your registration information (i.e., name, phone
number, e-mail address, mailing address, billing address,
credit card number, credit card expiration date, bank account
details) change, you will have the opportunity to update
your account. Simply log into your personal CaribPay account
and click on “Profile" to update your personal information.
- When
you visit our site
The way the World Wide Web works, when you visit our site,
we may collect the web address of the site that you visit
just before you come to CaribPay, and just after you leave
us. We may use this information only in the aggregate and
only to learn more about our customers’ interests and preferences
so that we may better serve you.
- When
we send you e-mail
We use software that enables us to track whether you support
HTML e-mail in your e-mail client, such as Microsoft Outlook,
Lotus Notes or AOL. We also use such software to determine
whether an HTML e-mail message has been opened or previewed,
however, we cannot track the open rate on text-only e-mail
messages. We use this capability only to deliver the best
content to you. Please note that you can override the "HTML
Capable" setting in your e-mail client.
- Information About You From Third Parties
In order to protect all our customers against potential
fraud, we verify with third parties the information you
provide. In the course of such verification, we receive
personally identifiable information about you from such
services. In particular, if you register a bank account
and or credit card/debit card with CaribPay, we will use
card authorization and fraud screening services to verify
that your bank account and or card information and address
matches the information that you supplied to CaribPay, and
that the Bank Account and or Credit/Debit card has not been
reported as compromised, lost or stolen, whichever applies.
- Additional Verification
If we cannot verify the information that you provide, or
if you request a withdrawal by check to an address other
than your verified credit card billing address, we may ask
you to send us additional information by fax (such as your
drivers' license, credit card statement, and/or a recent
utility bill or other information linking you to the applicable
address), or to answer additional questions online to help
verify your information.
How
is Personal Information Used?
When we provide our service.
CaribPay
requires certain personal information to be provided when
sending money. Among other uses, this information is necessary
for CaribPay to provide its Services. For example, a person
sending you money is required to provide personal information
(e.g., name, e-mail, phone, shipping address, credit card
number, etc.) so that CaribPay can among other things verify
the sender's identity, process the transaction, verify receipt
of deposit, confirm sender information, and provide status
reports related to the transaction.
When we try to improve.
Information collected when providing feedback about the CaribPay
service is necessary so that CaribPay may contact users for
clarification or additional help in improving our service
portfolio offerings. Information collected during contests
is used to administer promotions.
When we notify our customers. In addition, CaribPay
maintains several e-mail lists to keep CaribPay members informed
about our products and services as well as latest breaking
events. However, CaribPay protects its users from unsolicited
mail contact. If you do not want to receive such mailings,
simply go into your CaribPay account, click on “Profile” and
update your Contact Information. Deselect the checkbox on
the bottom that reads "Inform me of special offers and
promotions at CaribPay and we will promptly remove your name
from our distribution list.
How is Personal Information Disclosed?
CaribPay
does not sell, disclose, transfer, rent, loan, trade, or lease
individually identifiable user information to any third parties
collected at our site, including membership forms, e-mail
lists or Web site logs, except to provide CaribPay's basic
service and to provide information about CaribPay products,
offers, and events, and except as we explain below. The following
describes the ways that your personal information may be disclosed.·
The
Basic Product Offering.
In order to provide our services, CaribPay may disclose some
personal information to other companies, and these companies
may disclose personal information about you to us. For example,
CaribPay and other companies may exchange personal information
about you in order to verify a sender's identity or credit
rating, process a transaction or verify receipt of deposit.
This may include information we received from our co-branded
partners about you.Further, CaribPay must disclose some personal
information to each of the two users involved in the transaction
to provide our service. For instance, sender gets the receiver’s
name and e-mail address. Receiver gets the Sender's name,
e-mail address, telephone number. We also may give additional
information to sender’s to help better protect them against
fraudulent transactions. Such disclosures may include information
enabling the receiver to compare a sender's address or zip
code against his or her credit card billing address or zip
code. We may also provide the number of attempts a sender
made in trying to effect a transaction (such as the number
of different credit cards attempted), as well as the number
of approved CaribPay transactions to which a sender has been
a party.
Disclosure
to Co-branded Partners.
Users
must be pre-registered for the CaribPay service either through
CaribPay directly at the company's web site or through one
of CaribPay's co-branded partners. For our co-branded offering,
CaribPay will collect information for itself and its partner.
CaribPay will share information with its co-branded partners
through various communication mechanisms. Both companies agree
that they will not sell, disclose, transfer, rent, loan, trade,
or lease individually identifiable user information to any
third parties, except to provide CaribPay's basic product
offering.
Disclosure for Marketing Purposes and Joint Marketing Arrangements.
CaribPay may use a third-party e-mail marketing firm for the
purpose of managing e-mail communications with customers,
such as outbound marketing promotional e-mails. For these
mailings, we generally share e-mail lists and other personal
information to execute the mailing, however all such information
is kept strictly confidential. Further, while CaribPay does
not currently have any joint marketing arrangements with third
parties, we may enter into such agreements in the future.
To the extent permitted by law, CaribPay reserves the right
to disclose the information we collect, as described above,
to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf
or to other third parties with whom we may enter joint marketing
agreements.From time to time, CaribPay collects and may share
aggregated demographic or usage information about our site
for marketing and other purposes. However, such information
does not identify our users individually.
Disclosure for Legal and Regulatory Requests
CaribPay cooperates with all law enforcement and regulatory
authority inquiries and will release information about you
if we are compelled to do so. We may also disclose information
about you in other circumstances as permitted by law as we,
in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate.
For example, we may release information in connection with
an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements,
or other activity that is illegal or may expose us or you
to legal liability. Further, due to the existing regulatory
environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications
and other personally identifiable information will never be
disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy
Policy; for instance, third parties may unlawfully intercept

Information Security
CaribPay is committed to handling your customer information
with high standards of information security. Your credit card
and bank account information are stored only in encrypted
form generally on computers that are not connected to the
Internet. We restrict access to your personally identifiable
information to employees who need to know that information
in order to provide products or services to you. We maintain
physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply
with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal
information.
Non-Disclosure
of Your Password.
The security of your CaribPay account also relies on your
protection of your CaribPay password. You may not share your
CaribPay password with anyone. CaribPay will never ask you
to send your password or other sensitive information to us
in an e-mail, though we may ask you to enter this type of
information on the CaribPay website, which will always have
a URL beginning with https://www.CaribPay.com/.
CaribPay requires that you do not disclose or share your password
with any third parties. If you lose control of your password,
you may lose control over your personally identifiable information
and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your
behalf. If your password has been compromised for any reason,
you should immediately change it. Any e-mail or other communication
requesting your password, asking you to provide sensitive
account information via email, or linking to a website with
a URL that does not begin with https://www.CaribPay.com/ should
be treated as unauthorized and suspicious and should be reported
to CaribPay immediately. If you do share your CaribPay password
with a third party for any reason, including because the third
party has promised to provide you additional services such
as account aggregation, the third party will have access to
your account and your personal information, and you may be
responsible for actions taken using your password. If you
believe someone else has obtained access to your password,
please change it immediately by logging in to your account
at www.CaribPay.com

How
Can Users Cancel the Service?
You
can cancel CaribPay service under your “Profile” within your
account or by contacting CaribPay's Customer Service Department.
In some circumstances, however, we will retain information
about former customers in order to adhere to legal requirements,
resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, and enforce our User
Agreement. Furthermore, some information is not completely
removed from our databases. Therefore, you should not expect
that all of your personally identifiable information will
be removed.
How
Does CaribPay Use Cookies?
A
cookie is a small data file that is placed on your hard drive.
Among other things, CaribPay may use cookies to load your
personal settings and preferences information. We protect
information cookies with encryption and Secure Sockets Layer
(SSL) technology, the industry standard for secure commerce
transactions. Web Site Traffic InformationBecause of the way
that World Wide Web communication standards work, when you
arrive at or leave the CaribPay Web site, we may collect the
Web address of the site that you came from or are going to.
We may also collect information on which pages of our Web
site you visit while you are on the CaribPay site, the type
of browser you use and the times you access our Web site.
We use this information only to try to understand our customers'
preferences better and to manage the load on our servers,
so as to improve our service and your experience with CaribPay.
We do not track the Web sites that you visit before or after
you leave the CaribPay site.
How
Does CaribPay Secure Your Information?
When
you conduct a transaction on our site or when you log into
your CaribPay account, we encrypt all of your private information.
That information is then stored in a secure data center. All
transactions are conducted through our secure servers, which
are protected behind sophisticated firewalls. However, "absolute,
100%" security does not exist on the Internet. Customer
Service CorrespondenceIf you send us correspondence, including
e-mails and faxes, we generally retain such information in
the records of your account. We will also retain customer
service correspondence and other correspondence from CaribPay
to you. We retain these records in order to measure and improve
our customer service, and to investigate potential fraud and
violations of our User Agreement. We may, over time, delete
these records if permitted by law.

of Policy Changes
From
time to time, we may change this Privacy Policy based on your
comments and our need to accurately reflect our data collection
and disclosure practices. As required by federal law, we will
notify you of any changes to our Policy.
